What do you shake your head at? Monger's persistence in going again in spite of his injuries or the concept of a green motor race?

His persistence - bravery often seems a form of foolhardiness

That is how I see it too. There should be more to his life than motor racing.

As I noted at the start, I'm ambivalent about it. It shows determination, and illustrates what can be achieved.
