No. Obviously a very skilled footballer but I hated the bastard to the bone for his "hand of God".

My thoughts regarding Maradona are mainly those of disappointment. He was obviously supremely talented and yet he felt the need to cheat for no real reason.

It's sad that he went so downhill. So many footballers do in this country so we shouldn't be surprised at him who was no worse. I hope & am sure he did inspire youngsters from poor backgrounds like himself. He couldn't have been very happy latterly so at least he died quickly of a heart attack and is at peace now.
