Thanks for that. Living in the 'city of Mackintosh', this echoes with the lack of credit given to Alexander 'Greek' Thomson. I think Barcelona does a better job when you are there of highlighting Montaner than we do with Thomson. I always wonder whether part of that is guilt at having allowed so many buildings of his to be demolished or fall into ruin.

Even then for many years both Gaudi and Mackintosh were more recognised in Japan than closer to home.
