Not sure it's worth money.

The LHC has not found anything to challenge the standard model.

You can always say just give me a bigger machine with the energies I need. But, how do we even think there is more to find?

If the newer higher energy machine fails, you just say we need a bigger one. This goes on and on

Was confirming the existence of the Higgs boson not important?

Yes, but it was the standar model confirmed, nothing new.

Also, they have found nothing else.

Perhaps I watch to many Sabine videos?
