Title: Wood-burning stove ban in Scotland 'not rural-proofed', say crofters
Post by: Nearly Sane on April 11, 2024, 11:38:38 AM
This issue is really only just catching fire here. I'm not sure whether the opposition parties and the internal opposition I'm the SNP coalesced around Kate Forbes and Fergus Ewing, were not making enough of it, were struggling to get traction on it, or thought waiting till it applied was best but it's not a good look. Combine it with the ferry fiasco, and it's easy, and not inaccurate, to portray the SNP - Green govt as an centralised urban grouping with little knowledge or care of issues outwith the Central Belt.

How many new houses built in Scotland have wood burning stoves anyway?
