Last couple of series probably haven't been quite as good but still one of the most interesting shows

Some great stuff. Bit jealous of your weekend.

So watched last night's. Enjoyed it but the twist was almost too much of a twist for the story to support.

Found the first of the new series incomprehensible.
-
One of their darker outings, The Trolley Problem. Pretty much a two hander which they are very good at. Like a number of them marks back to Sleuth.

Ooh, nasty. However, since Robbie has a phone, he could call 999, and the police could trace his signal, surely.

I think there is a variety of solutions to your issue for dramatic purposes.

Mulberry Close? Hmm.. I think there was need for more farce, and light dialogue before the 'twist' which felt a bit out of place. Liked the final 'twist'.
The 3 so far, individually have been fine fitting in the series, but as 3 in a row, it's felt a little Grand Guignol.

Enjoyed Ctrl Alt Esc. I presume the choice of character name played by actor Kalli Tant was a nod to Viz.

Curse of the Ninth didn't really work for me. It's MR James feel somehow jarred with the rather obvious innuendos.

Plodding On was rather lovely. An evocation of the series and yet a story that worked. I doubted that a last episode of one of my favourite series could do it justice but it did.

Yeah, enjoyed it. A good ending.
