Dear Sane,
All good, no more toeing the party line, politicians actually working for their fat expense accounts, this is all good, no more lets get behind the Prime Minister, no more lets get behind the party leader, bar steward politicians actually talking about what changes need to happen, voting with their conscious.
I hope this catches on across all parties, fuck off politicians actually earning their fat salaries.

That reads as if you think that the MPs agreeing with you are justifying your salary because they agree with you. For the jod they do, MPs salaries are not particularly high in comparison to similar roles. That they have some who have billed the system in expenses is true but that doesn't mean they all do, else the whole wlmelfare spongers idea is validated. That theg have expenses is under the current system necessary. To take an example the MP for Orkney and Shetland sound more than his net salary in travel. If we don't pay expenses under the current system you will need to be rich to be an MP.
I do welcome more independent thought amongst MPs, but whether in this case what has happened is 'all good' is questionable. First of all, the lack of thought and slowness of response of the govt is a worry. They have hard choices to make and not thinking adequately about their own MPs reactions, and bu extension their supporters, is a worry for getting coherent govt. Secondly, there is a problem with the size of tge welfare budget, which the reforms didn't really begin to deal with, which looks now even harder to deal with. Third, is in making the govt look clueless and thoughtless, the prospect of a Reform doing better increases. One of the small pieces of comfort after the local elections in England and Wales was that it would expise Reforms lack of knowledge and experience in positions of power. That becomes a harder sell if the govt looks to have a lack of knowledge and experience.
But we can all forget about this because the nasty man said nasty words at Glastonbury.

And I am asking, just for clarification purposes, MP's job/career or vocation?

Vice Presidents in banking, roles in the civil service, NHS, IT. And in addition to being a brutally hard job, if done right, you give up substantial amounts of privacy.
