Cultural appropriation, schmultural appropriation. We culturally appropriate whenever we have a curry or a Chinese. So what?
I used to make a mean hummus, but haven't for years.

It is obvious to anyone who has tasted real hummus that the supermarket varieties are generally, shockingly bad. So what? Supermarket varieties of anything are not generally up to much. Although I have a sneaking regard for Sainsbury's Tadka Dahl - even then I have to add extra garlic - so actually easier to cook from scratch - I digress.

I think the fella needs to be concentrating more on cultural destruction rather than appropriation.

A strange hill to choose to die on.

I wonder whether he is displacing certain feelings onto the hummus from other worries.
