I was going to start a thread on this, but you beat me to it. Makes me wonder about the wisdom of doing politics by focus group.

Thanks, enjoyed that. It's interesting that the article highlights that these are in many ways old problems which the technology exacerbates rather than causes.

Focus groups will tell you that they don't like politics by focus groups but I think we are now in the world of virtual focus groups. Algorithmically designed AIs reacting.
