Men being over-treated for prostate cancer, says charity

This is very interesting to me, as I am not really sure what group I would have been regarded as being in, but I certainly wasn't given much encouragement to think about monitoring.

Although monitoring wasn't an option for me, and assuming it involves regular bloods etc it may well be appropriate for some, I'd imagine that just knowing you have early stage prostate cancer, or are a high risk of developing prostate cancer, must be quite worrying.

Hopefully monitoring would help identify early when treatment was now needed, and before things got too advanced.
