Ridiculous that someone was found guilty of burning a Quran, and now compounded by this

This sort of nonsense just encourages the likes of Robinson and Fartage.

Dear Steve, Good Morning ;)

Correct, and as I was saying to old Sane on another thread, we have rules very old rules, but it looks like we have new rules.

Officially, blasphemy was abolished by New Labour in the 2008 Criminal Justice Act.

Strange thing for me is, that book that was burned is very big on the sanctity of life and in this case a life could have been so easily taken.

Gonnagle.
I will now read posts very carefully and then using the two God given brains cells that I have reply as if I am talking to a two year old, yes that should suffice as a gentle reminder✝️✝️✝️❤️

Just to note that was for England and Wales. Thr Scottish parliament got rid of yhe blasphemy laws last year. And in terms of your post, surely the old rules were the blasphemy ones?

I wonder if there would be the same outcome if someone burned a Christian Bible.

Dear Gordon,

Good question, me personally I would be outraged, a stern letter to the Times at the very least :P

You can have slaves, and beat them to within an inch of their lives. And of course you shouldn't commit blasphemy by 'taking the Lord's name in vain'
