Saw him last year at Wickham Festival. Unfortunately, he was well below his best and had to cut his set short.

Still, the fact that he was there at all is remarkable and a testament to the skills of modern medicine.

I remember seeing Dr Feelgood on (I think) OGWT around 1975, compared to the Prog rock types who usually featured on TV in those days, the band was something quite different. I am pleased (and surprised) that Wilko is even still with us.

I saw them live in Eastbourne in 1975 but in truth did not follow them after. Of course Wilco has popped many times since then, not least as a suitably gruesome Illyn Payne in GOT.

This was a really interesting film. It was sad how the euphoria seemed to leave him when the tumor had been removed and "ordinary" life continued.
