I honestly think we should give the chap a chance. After all, he is representing millions of Americans and their hopes.

Maybe he is messing up all the things that most people think of as 'correct' and 'proper'. Stirring things up a bit!

But that's the way cultures evolve.... through dynamic change. Not through status quo.  :)

A chance to do what? His whole speech was a blast to fuel hatred and conflict.

Anyway ... those voters don't want anything to "evolve" - they are trying to grasp illusions from their childhoods that they think they want to go back to. It's a kind of dementia and will end in tears.

At least the arms industry will get a huge boost, people will demand more missiles as he drives up uncertainty and fear -
it doesn't really matter if they actually work or not as long as people think they are safer with them.
