She is smashing. Will she do Strictly next year, I ask?
Very wise to give up boxing now, she can't risk her sight.

It would, I am imagining her as being a very good dancer, could be wrong about that but she is so nice and sunny she would definitely be a popular contestant.

Totally agree. And would undoubtedly work hard at it.

I don't think I'd admit that in public. She's good at smashing people's faces in.

Ha! I did think she was quite lucky to win the gold that day. Was quite odd as the English anthem was Jerusalem and too few English fans appeared to know it.

They woudn't recognise the dark Satanic mills; when I was a kid at school and 'Jerusalem' was sung (which I loved), I didn't know what they were either but I had vivid pictures of what they might be, in my mind.

I get what Jeremy means. I don't like boxing, cannot understand why anyone would want to hurt another person - deliberately. There have been some awful injuries, think that chap Chris Ewbank fought who has since been confined to a wheelchair. Ewbank's son is a boxer and doing quite well but his dad impresses on him how easy it is to - well - even kill someone.

However boxers usually seem quite congenial, there have been a couple on 'Strictly' who were nice and they appear on other things. I particularly like David Hay and Lennox Lewis used to be my fav.

Therefore it makes sense that I like Nicola Adams the person first, and her ex profession, second. Mohammed Ali's daughter, Laila, is a gem too - I saw on the American Celebrity Apprentice. She's a TV presenter now.

Good luck to Nicola.

(I do like wrestling, WWE, Wrestlemania and all that. Love Dwayne. They get injured too though, things don't always go to plan, there have been awful incidents including burns - the Americans love the pyrotechnics, so do I.)
