Which to an extent ties in  with the last Bill Maher bit I put up but that is behaviour being shown by both sides. Those supporting Trump though create the additional worry of being in power.

Of course. It doesn't mean he was MAGA or right-wing either. Yes, Bill Maher was to the point, as he usually is. Both sides desperately want it to be the other. An indictment of the political atmosphere in America at the moment.

I had never heard of Charlie Kirk before his murder.  After viewing some of his debates on college campuses I feel he would better be described as a Christian Apologist rather than a right wing activist.  The media seems to ignore his Christian message in favour of emphasising his controversial political views.  I listened to his wife's speech at his memorial service and was impressed by her commitment to carry on Charlie's aim to bring young people closer to God.  She noted that there had been a substantial surge in church attendances since his death.

Since he is said by many in the Republican party to be a major part in Trump getting elected, and that includes Kirk himself, then just calling him a Christian apologist and ignoring the political activism is at best simplistic.

And more good stuff from Bill Maher

I watched the footage of the shooting yesterday, and nobody should be joking about this.

Those aren't jokes about the killing. And Maher is very clear that it's a tragedy. This seems to indicate that you didn't watch what he said. As to things you shouldn't say perhaps, it might be more useful for you to pick up those Christians that talk about revenge in the light of this?

'Jimmy Kimmel show to return after suspension over Charlie Kirk comments' - will be interested to hear what Kimmel has agreed to say to achieve this.

They're jokes about killing, not really an appropriate time for that? Yes, I only watched a few seconds of it.

Live reporting of a late night show monologue. It's a strange world we live in. Will be interesting to see the reactions, and interesting that it is those from the further reaches of the Republican Party who had stood up for Kimmel's right to make the remarks.  Good that he went after that Trump and the FCC.

Several red flags have come up regarding the evidence we've been given.
1. A bullet from a Mauser bolt action .30-06 caliber rifle (the weapon supposedly used) would have caused much more damage to the body than the small hole seen in the neck.
2. Whatever the projectile was, it caused the neck to swell and the t-shirt to bulge, which has been described as caused by a massive cavitation event inside the thorax as the bullet's energy was dissipated outwards. This stopped the heart instantly and explains why the blood didn't pulsate when it came out. A .30-06 bullet would have gone straight through the neck, especially at the angle Tyler Robinson would have fired at.
3. The CCTV footage shows a man running across a rooftop and dropping down to the ground. At one point his shadow disappears. In the background to the right people can be seen appearing out of nowhere and then disappearing, indicating the video has been tampered with.

Without that then it's just chatter, not evidence. Note, points 1 and 2 seem to contradict each other.

A tearful Kim Robinson reports that God showed her that Charlie Kirk was rewarded with a horse ranch in Heaven and she saw "Charlie riding on a horse, with Jesus". LOL!
