Overcast with a few blue gaps, warm, muggy, light breeze.

Very warm, but there a bit of a breeze, thank goodness.

It's raining! Only lightly, but steadily, which is more use horticulturally than torrential rain, which doesn't last long.

I'm slap bang in the middle of the amber area, but there's no sign of rain yet, at 7:27, though it is overcast.

Correction - it's raining now, at 7:35, but only ordinary rain, not torrential.

Quite windy here in Hertfordshire. Also overcast and cool, but dry. Hope you survive Floris up North.

Couple of strong gusts still this afternoon, blew over the metal chairs on the balcony.

Grey and overcast. Light on as it's so miserable. No heatwave, even in the minor fashion we are east to get it so far.

It's still 22C at around 8pm - too warm for me.

Thankfully, it has been much cooler here today, and we had a terrific thunderstorm. It made a change from 31C yesterday, which saw me turning into a puddle.

I'd love a good thunderstorm: we rarely get them here.

Wet and windy. The rain is very welcome, after months of drought.
