Why?
For whom?
Does Magna Carta mean nothing to you? Did she die in vain?

For every country which makes up the UK. We all need each other, as we are too small to stand alone, especially now we have the Brexit disaster upon us.  :o

On that note, that the electoral responsibility for the Brexit disaster is not equally attributable to each of the 4 nations that comprise the UK is one indication that these nations are not 'United' in political terms.

I just hope I live long enough to see Scotland become an independent country,

Liked the article, but I have always found Hastings a good writer, it kind of sums up my feelings on the various threads laid out.

'Haggis and bagpipes', getting the name of the SNP wrong, six counties of Ulster, Welsh is a bit funny?

"for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

They're as small, or smaller, than some of the countries which make up the british union.
They can manage perfectly well.
Why can't we?
