Match day today. West Ham v Fiorentina in the final of the Europa Conference League. Getting quite excited. Once in a lifetime stuff for a West Ham fan. The last time we got this far in a European competition was 1976. I was only six months old at the time. Managed to talk my boss into giving me the day off tomorrow, so I'm getting tanked up and going down the pub.

I've criticised him this season for our poor league form but I'm really pleased for Moyes as well. It's not easy managing all those competitions without a massive squad. I really am happy for him.

It's a weird one. Could have gone down but pulled some form up at the end. And winning any European trophy is very hard. Just enjoy it.

Given the fact that a stop of the end of the season and start for the next is not all clear cut, my suggestion is we use this thread for the Women's World Cup  and start a new one for events actually from 2023 - 24? Any comments
