It does mean there won't be a Raab moment to match thrle Portillo one.

I'm hopeful that there will be many MPs standing down involuntarily at the next election. Surely one of them at least will be high profile. At one point in the Liz Truss interlude it looked like almost all of the Tories would be standing down.
