PM defends NHS record as targets missed in England
« on: April 11, 2024, 01:08:35 PM »

'There has been a change to way the list is counted, with community paediatric waits no longer included.

As a result, about 36,000 treatments have been removed from the total.

With this considered, February's waiting list remained stable compared to the previous month, according to NHS England.'

But, of course...

I was talking to a friend the other day who is due to have a knee replacement. Due to her having no kneecap from an accident years ago, this will be a complicated procedure. She is currently on a list BUT not a waiting list. The figures are much higher than we are being told. Even so, the mathematical idiocy on display is something to behold. We've removed 36,000 so the figures are stable. Nope. At the very least they've gone up 36,000. Fucking fuckity fucking nonsense.

I'm not sure whether it means that, or whether if you add them back in there has been no change. Either way Sunak's not being honest.
