What do we want? I cannot see that reporting this to the police was him covering up anything. What exactly what a QC doing as part of the CofE clergy?
He himself, did all he could by reporting it to the police. If not an abuser, then why did he have to resign if he reported it to the police. Was it the fact as a QC it would make any case her took on for abuse be found unsafe?
Could the police and justice system be at fault here, What the Bishop actually do if the police decided no action should be taken?
The abusers are the only ones at fault here. If the police covered the QC then it is a legal matter and why is no one asking the police and even the legal system?
We have heard so much about abuse but the sickening fact, is people like Cliff Richard, who did nothing at all was falsely accused and no one thought about the mental and physical abuse it caused him. Suffering can be caused to the innocent too. Now it is time to ensure those told who do nothing to report to the police, then action should be taken against them if they knew.,
Sick of all this abuse thing. If you are well liked and rise to the top someone is going to try and drag you down even if, in like Cliffs case, it isn't true.
People, would have believed it. Wonder if you will think and ask yourself, what if you were accused? What would you feel knowing you were innocent.
The world can have evil because of what humans do. But unless we seek truth in these matters it becomes like a witch hunt. But the witches were not witches, just innocent people accused and found guilty. In their case young women lost their lives. Especially epileptic and people with deformities.
