On FB, a picture in a Only Connect thing popped up of John Wark, the Scottish football player. It was one in a set of pictures which were supposed to be homonyms for horses' gaits - wark to be a homonym for walk. This prompted a few people to say that it wasn't a honour for them, as it isn't for me, and someone posted the article below which is on the issue previously
