Yet another instance where someone displays ignorance of the meaning of "celibacy".

Yet another instance where someone displays ignorance of the meaning of "celibacy".
The original meaning. Nowadays, it means "abstaining from sex".

Its meaning remains what it has always been - "unmarried".

It is used quite generally - but erroneously - to refer to "chastity", which is abstention from sexual activity.
