Yes - you are, and they were, right. It was a nasty comment. Mea culpa.

All over now.  I've heard others say horrible things - even twenty years ago when she had just died!   That's what comes of a person having a high profile, people want to drag them down.  I think sometimes they are jealous.   Not you Steve!!!  I'm just thinking generally.

I heard my first sick joke on the subject before they'd even buried her.
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

I think that one would have to be very hard hearted  to not to have appreciated the poignancy of Diana's coffin following the same route that her wedding procession had taken only sixteen years earlier.

Yes it was twenty years ago. Let Diana now rest in peace.

She frightened 'em. Let that be her legacy.
