You see now you've mentioned him - Tom Hanks. It's not films I don't like. It's films with Tom Hanks in that I don't like.

Ruins every one. Doesn't ever convince me or get me to suspend disbelief.

Life is like a box of chocolates - unless its a Tom Hanks film and then you know exactly what you are going to get.

I disagree. Many of his films have been great.

Titanic. That was a load of old pony.

It sinks at the end, you know.

Apologies to anyone who hasn't seen it.

;)

Rotter!  I was looking forward to seeing that.
Don't worry Bashers: apparently they're doing a sequel.

Artemis 81.

I wasted three hours of my youth on this pretentious turgid bollox.

I've even read the Wiki article on it, and I still don't understand the wretched thing.

Titanic films never succeed. Goebbels hushed up a multi billion mark attempt when he realised it was an allegory about how bad totalitarianism is.
The there was Lew Grade's Raise The Titanic.....Grade said afterwards ''Raise The Titanic? I'd have been better off Lowering The Atlantic.''

Considering that the film had Leonardo Di Caprio in it, the iceberg gave by far the better performance.

I agree with everything ... er .... critical that has been said about Titanic. If Kate Winslett's ... er ... gash is what I think it is, it was one of the redeeming elements of the film.

One film I could never watch again is The Deer Hunter.

I was:  Titanic II is a film about a ship called Titanic II.  It's not a sequel to Titanic.

Only in the film "Titanic II".  If you don't wan tot check out the IMDB link, I can tell you the film has a rating of 1.6/10.  That should give you an idea of what it is like.

I dispute the comments on Star Wars episodes 1-3

Yes, Jar Jar Binks is unforgiveable, almost as bad as the scripts. But... and I am deadly serious now... episode 3 is the 2nd best of all six made so far.

Oh yes... I said it.

I was like you once, but then I watched all 6 films back to back and the definite conclusion was that Empire Strikes Back is by far the best but Revenge of the Sith was better than the others, based on dramatic content, action and pacing.

What was also made abundantly clear is how bad a driector and scriptwriter George Lucas is.

As for my film I don't like - Annie
A lot of people don't believe that the loch ness monster exists. Now, I don't know anything about zooology, biology, geology, herpetology, evolutionary theory, evolutionary biology, marine biology, cryptozoology, palaeontology or archaeology... but I think... what if a dinosaur got into the lake?

I can't see the attraction in horror films at all.  Just what is it?

..now, if you could only watch a horror film whilst on a roller-coaster.....you would pay good money for that!

...don't bother buying popcorn though!  :o
