Ideal for you N S loads of hot air without getting around to discussing the original subject that was up for debate.

What original subject do you think was up for discussion, ippy? I posted the article for interest.

What?

Surely if you aren't interested in the topic you just move on. I know I do.

It doesn't matter what's up for debate, it could be anything, any subject, the same principle would seem to apply in your case.

Even this post of yours is an example of how you are, questioning a perfectly understandable post, understandable to almost anyone else.

No doubt you can construct a whole thread out of the contents of my two posts, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if you do.

My post had nothing to do with the subjects of this post, I just find in general the subject involved in this particular link, would suit N S's personality.

Whether I'm interested in the subjects involved in the link is beside the point.

I've got the Turing book, it's a viciously difficult read.

Anyway, if you are going to have books about Information, I'd drop Plato's Republic but include The Mathematical Theory of Communication.

Have to admit that seemed an odd one to leave out
