Seen it three times NS and never tire of it! The documentary and "Kate Bush at the BBC'', which are usually shown one after the other.
She was so sweet! That is something that struck me the first time I saw the doc with interviews when she was young, and she was very young. So innovative, a real artist.
Wasn't it lovely how all her fellow musicians/singers spoke of her? Gilmour was great, he picked up on her unique talent very early.
Kate Bush's concert at the Apollo some while ago was very well reviewed, I aim to buy the dvd which was rather expensive (ie over fifty quid), may be cheaper now.
Kate Bush was a local girl (to me), went to Goldsmiths; her dad was a GP in the Woolwich area - people would say, "Have you seen Dr Bush's daughter on TV?" when Wuthering Heights came out - but her entire family were artistic. Well, I'm telling you what you already know, being as you watched the BBC4 programmes!
I love BBC4 but of all the stuff I've seen on there, this is one I never tire of.
