Peter Sarstedt. R.I.P.

Maybe not as high profile as some of late - but for those of us who were 17 in 1969 his one big hit was memorable.

Although not my usual taste in music I've always had a soft spot for 'that' song - so thanks for 'that', Peter.

"Frozen orange juice" wasn't bad either.
"for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

I was nineteen, Gordon (until Dec 31st).  Remember him well and liked his song though not really my sort of thing.
He was lovely, bless him.
