A classic I managed to get a few programmes in before it was taken down having had to watch the last episode. When he summarised his personal beliefs at the end I confess to shedding a bit of a tear but haven't quite figured out why. It's definitely on my birthday Box set wish list.

Jacob Bronowski's Ascent of Man should also be on your list  :)

Yes I saw episode 1 today.

Can I suggest Harry Hill's ''You've categorised everyone as a fundamentalist again'' volume 1?

If it's got Stoufer the Cat in I'll be sure to catch it.

I understand that. I didn't agree with everything in it but I loved his clear passion and knowledge. I did post that it was up at the start of May with the link, unfortunately you must have missed that.

It's always worth looking at what they have put up on archive.

Have the latter two as well - time and technology have been a little less than kind to Cosmos (hence the remake with Neil Tyson) but the Burns epic is one I can watch over and over and over.

Burns' stuff is excellent. The Wild West is available on Netflix, and I have the box set on Jazz
