I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

Funny you should say that: a few years back West Midlands police were advertising for civillian drivers....and their ad stated that copies of the terms and conditions were available in Braille.

All their recruitment ads probably include that as a default on the template, and they just neglected to delete it.
