While having gone to school next to the Glasgow School of Art, Mackintosh has been an ever present in my life, and much loved, I prefer his wife's, Margaret MacDonald, art and Alexander Thomson as a Glasgow architect. Charlie, like Gaudi in Barcelona, too often gets seen as isolated rather than part of a story. But for today, I will raise a glass to CRM while I am in my pants.
