New TV Drama for the Autumn

Plenty here I like the look of:

Gentleman Jack and Wanderlust both look very promising - but the stand out for me, if it is done properly, is a faithful adaptation of War of the Worlds. Excellent if they pull it off.

Doing a faithful WotW is an interesting idea, if successful could give rise to a number of such adaptations of classic sci fi.

I am really looking forward to War of the Worlds.
Vanity Fair will be starting in the autumn too, there have been many TV adaptations, hope this is one of the better ones. It's well cast.
