Saw Chas and Dave support The Libertines once. Enjoyed them way more than The Libertines

RIP Chas.

One of Middlesex's finest (He was born in Edmonton, not the East End).

I saw Chas and Dave in concert in 1980s with my fiance (now husband). We had a great time.

I wouldn't say I was a huge fan, but I like C&D. I've got a book by Chas - on vegetable growing. He was a keen allotmenteer.
"That bloke over there, out of Ultravox, is really childish."
"Him? Midge Ure?"
"Yes, very."

Used to love their songs as a kid. As a snooker fan loved Snooker Loopy, of course. Also Margate, which is used in the OFAH episode Jolly Boys Outing. Rabbit, aswell. They had so many good songs. Another part of my childhood gone. :(

. . . and, as you get older, the speed of those losses increases - exponentially it seems!

An it harm none, do what you will; an it harm some, do what you must!
