The right wing assault on Doctor Who

Mail,sun and Telegraph seem to be working overtime to rubbish Doctor Who and how PC it is. My view is that, after years the programme is fulfilling the reithian tradition of education, information and edification. Your modern tories don't want any of that, just Imbies who will cast their votes in a completely stupid way.

I know. Shocking isnt it, its even got those dark fellows in it.

Personally, I'm enjoying it more than I have for 5 or six seasons. I think the balance of historical and future and current stories is just fine. And I'm ok with the backing away from labyrinthine plots.

Sometimes less really is more.

Surely by any definition Doctor Who has always been 'PC'? The Macra were never an argument for Jordan Peterson's lobster morals. (That is the geekiest sentence ever written)

I am glad that I haven't found myself fancying Jodie Whittaker in this role. I was worried it might affect my view of the series. But I have to say I am a bit in love with Yaz/Mandip Gill.

Some of us managed to watch it and fancy Christopher Ecclestone. Not to mention (be still my beating heart) Paul McGann.

That's a sore point.
"The Macra Terror" is one of the stories the D**n BBC wiped in the '70s.
We have a few photos and an audio of the story, but that's about it.
There might just be a valid reason for bringing back judicial execution after all....

Some of the Paul Mcgann audio stories are simply brilliant...especially those involving his companion Lucie Millar (Sheridan Smith).

I love Dr Who,and I love Jodie Whittaker as the latest Doctor, but even |I think that some of the anti-violence, inclusivity messages are a wee bit clunky. However, anything the Hate-Mail hates can't be all bad.

Yes, the simpler plots are welcome.
Looking forward to the one with Alan Cummings as King James Vi and I. Apparently, it's due a week on Sunday.

Lobster morals?

So thats why Peterson looks like hes just realised a lobster is in his trouser every time someone asks him something.
