Black Mirror: Bandersnatch

Well, I've had one go through it and I am not sure if it is anything more than interesting. The interactivity seems to get in the way at times and you lose specific interest in the characters. Will try a different set of paths on a rewatch.

I might have a go myself, I've felt for a while that I could enjoy some activity in a parallel universe - pure escapism. I haven't looked at this one yet ('Bandersnatch' is almost an anagram of Brands Hatch), if it is very beautiful I'll try, if it's violent I won't bother.

We had a long go through it, reaching a couple of endings and rewinding.

It throws in lots of potentially interesting stuff re free will, alternate realities, time flow but can't seem to put them together to produce a coherent outcome or message.

Didn't like the style of production and some sections were just clichéd or stupid. The psychology of the characters and their interactions seemed inadequate too.

Difficult to discuss without spoilers.

The name comes from Carroll's poems and there are plenty of Alice references throughout.

That's what intrigued me but having delved a little I don't think it's quite what I'm looking for.
