Walter
Yes, the friends here are virtual friends, but sometimes it is possible to assume something about a person from their written words rather than meeting them. This was a lesson I learned long ago. Through a society I had got to know by letter a woman whose exuberance, warmth, intelligence and wonderful way with words was so interesting and we becamefriends. When we met, I was quite taken aback, because her appearance and quite loud voice were so unexpected. This lasted only a moment though, because I had come to know the real person first. We remained friends until she died, too young, in her sixties.
good for you , glad to hear it  ;D

This forum has had a resurrection experience and is getting lively once again, long may that last. :)

I think it's picked up a bit over the last couple of weeks, more posts.  During the summer a lot of people were on holiday so it was quiet.

It's certainly much more pleasant than it was earlier in the year, less tantrums and bad language.

Talk about resurrection, this forum has certainly resurrected itself from the almost dead, which is really good news. :)

How are you, Robbie?

Do you know what, I have only just seen your above post from seven months ago.

Thank you for asking, I'm OK just a bit subdued, have been for a while. Not pathologically so, but I find I don't want to do much or go anywhere. Last weekend I was away with husband and in laws at my sister in law's place in Sussex; had very good time, always do when we go there, sis in law is a female version of my husband but more vivacious :-), her husband is lovely too as are her adult children (whom we saw, they live nearby). I really don't want to travel far though, the thought scares me. It may pass. Physically I'm well thanks.

Walter since you first posted this thread things have picked up here quite a bit. What Little Roses said is right.

Pardon my ignorance but what is a light box?
