Just started watching this today. Very well done but perhaps the politics is a bit heavy.

The characters' names are even sillier than those of 'Game of Thrones', and the plot sounds pretty daft, as well.
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

No, I love Dickens, but his names are amusing, whereas GoT names, and these, are just tiresome.

Surely the point as in any fantasy genre is that the names have to be 'odd' to mark it as fantasy? See Tolkien for example.
