As ever I am. Kelvin is good as is Michelle Visage and Karim. Either David James or the rower(forgotten his name) to go out this week.

Yes, I do.  I suspect that James Cracknell will be ejected.  It looks as if Mike Bushell is due to be the comedy act.

I don't even try to watch it, although of course I'd like to, but isn't James Cracknell so competitive that he'll work to stay in anyway?

I think he feels awkward and out of place as does the goalkeeper David James.  A lot of it is about how entertaining they are which is where the actors and actresses have an advantage as they can switch into an appropriate personality.  Odd things happen when the public vote as celebrity status seems to have an influence as opposed to dance skills.

As yet not feeling it. Sometimes it takes a little time for a series to have its own identity.

I like her. She has all the credentials and a good personality. Darcey was a difficult act to follow, she was so good and gracious but nothing lasts forever and Motsi gets a ten from me.

Ekim was right about James being the first to go, bless him. I knew on Saturday night because I looked at the Spoiler thread on Digital Spy, the only time I go on there is during the Strictly series.

Emma Weymouth is lovely though I thought she danced better the previous week, however it's early days. I like them all at the moment.

Lots of good dancing last night, as ever the costume department did a great job, but 10s in week 3? And still not feeling it. Obviously Anneka Rice should go. The stick she used as a prop was a better dancer.

I didn't see it last night, watched it this morning.

Catherine and Johannes rhumba was amazing, had me nearly in tears.

Yes I suppose Anneka's dance was the worst but I like her and she obviously had fun. I doubt she minds that her 'journey' is over. Sorry for Kevin but that's how it goes.

Very good show.

Harry Connick Jr performing on tonight's results show. Last time I saw him he was a lawyer in Law & Order.

He should have stuck to the law. He didn't do "Anything Goes" any favours.  :(

I found his performance a bit lacklustre too Trent, thought it was just me. I remember him being a really good big band type singer and had his own band, not exactly my taste but I could appreciate it. I suppose they alll have their day (or he could have been having an off day). He was always rakishly good looking too. I've noticed the guest singers on Strictly often aren't as good as usual in that setting so he's not the only one. Nadya and Anton danced beautifully to him though.

He was excellent as lawyer in Law and Order & he and Det Olivia Benson were in love but had to part because of conflict of interests, it was quite cutting.

Again I knew Anneka was going and it was right that she did, don't thinkshe minded too much, good sport and all that.

Group dance at beginning was excellent in my opinion. Yes I am a real Strictly fan as are all family it seems. My late parents and my (not late) in laws used to take it in turns to watch at each other's houses, take food or have takeaway, a Sat night ritual :-). My mother in law said before this year's started that it just wouldn't be the same for them any more without my mum and dad, last time just dad but I'm glad they've got into the swing of it again. My sis went round to theirs last week with a lasagne and watched with them, bless her. They all danced in their time, people of their ages all learned ballroom and knew how todance, didn't matter if the weren't all that good but could shuffle around reasonably accurately.

Charlie and I have always had favourite professionals (tho' like them all): used to be Ian Waite, Erin Boag,  Darren and lilya, Flavia and Vincent, still see them on ITT (lovely Lilia is huge now!).  Latterly I particularly liked Natalie Lowe and Aljaz. Chaz favours Kevin. Now it's Oti, Aljaz and the wonderful Johannes. I sound like a real sad case but it's good to have something different and relaxing in life when work etc. is so intense (it's the only non-work thing that is ever talked about at work!).

I have to go and get ready in a bit, starting early today, still half asleep. See you all later.

Hi Robbie

Not sad at all. People get enthused about all sorts of things. Sport, books, music, dogs, almost anything.

Latterly for me it is the sea. We moved recently to the South Coast (Worthing area) one of the reasons being that I had always wanted to live by the sea. It was a good choice because now I walk by the sea every day and never tire of it's changing moods. And yes even in the rain.

Anyway I digress from the topic somewhat; this is only a personal opinion but I actually dislike the bit where the dancers come on during the guests performances. I find it distracting and feel that you end up with a production that falls between two stools. My opinion, and only a minor irritant to me.

Yes, that was one of those things that watching people's reactions to it was even funnier. It's fairly gentle TV, and is intertwined with my life since when I ran off with my now wife, it was the day of the first ever Strictly. On a day when nothing made sense, and It took me 30 minutes to read a menu, returning to the flat, managing to make spag bol - which I think I can do blindfold - it was the sort of thing that was ju* Except right*.

Oh gosh yes, Christopher Parker. He had a delightful professional dance partner, can't remember her name. Hannah* something? She only did one series (I don't think because of him :-)).

Johannes on ITT tonight but I'll watch that on catch up.

I felt sorry for Dev, both couples were too good to be in the bottom but that's how it goes, I'm glad EmmaW is staying.

Emma Barton and Anton's dance was really beautiful last night.

The Will and Janette dance tonight - I know there was emotional manipulation going on - but it worked. Was in bits.

Yes, not sure it was worth the score it received. Mind you that applied to a few of the dances this evening, imho. Judges are far too keen to brandish their "9" & "10"'s.

I haven't seen tonight's yet, went out for a while. I'll watch it on catch up.
Sounds interesting from what you've said.

I've now seen. Loved it! Am glad Emma W did so well, she will not be in bottom two (I know result but will not say).

It was a smashing show in my opinion for what it's worth (no comments please :-) ).

I really like Anfonso but when Bruno returns, I'll be happy.

Anyone's game at the moment.

I will try to watch on a Saturday as much as pissible to be able to vote.

PS I meant 'possible' not 'pissable' but left it because it is funny (to me).

I enjoyed tonight's results show, already knew who was eliminated. Nadya had worked wonders with David and he certainly seemed pleased, despite having to leave.

Right result all round on terms of bottom 2. They are trying to make Mike Bushell the comedy candidate but it's a bit of a stretch for him as with most things for him.
