Whilst I am of the opinion that guardian angels of the religious kind are a creation of the human imagination, I know the human variety actually exist.
I have told this story many times, I owe my life to my guardian angel, Aunty Myra. When I was two she rescued me from a bolting horse and cart which was standing on the long drive of my childhood home. She was so very brave as she could easily have been killed herself. All these many years later I still thank her, and tell her she is famous as I have put this story on the Net so many times.
Aunty Myra celebrated her 102 birthday in August.
