Well that would seem to apply to the well known one across the pond. ::)

And indeed our own PM. I wonder if there is a cross over with the idea laid out in Jon Ronson's book The Psychopath Test that many CEOs are psychopaths. I would think the line between 'narcissism' and psychopathy is a fine one.

I think Boris is certainly in the narcissism camp, but Trump is the narcissist in chief. He could be a psychopath too, Trump's behaviour gives that impression.

I don't think BJ is a narcissist.

Why not?

Look at the seven deadly sins of narcissism. If you run down the list with Trump in mind, he ticks all the boxes. You could argue that Boris ticks some of the boxes but it is never as clear cut as with Trump.

I'd argue that he ticks all the boxes, I agree there are some that Trump is clearer on but it seems to me only a matter of degree.

He doesn't. I could go down the list and compile examples of each type of behaviour when it comes to Trump, but I couldn't do that with Johnson.

I agree that BJ is a traitorous shit and possessed of huge and all consuming ambition, but not a narcissist.

I think the infamous Eddie Mair interview ticks most of the boxes on its own.

ooh err!!!

You are a slightly nicer person than me !! Ha

When I worked for a finance company I did tests like this every 6 months or so ,
I was fast tracked for higher things quite quickly based on test results and business revenues achieved .
Little roses would not approve of how I made a living 😇

I don't approve of finance companies, which often charge ridiculously high interest rates, which scam the vulnerable.

There should be a crack down on finance companies, they should go out of business if they are charging very high rates of interest. I don't know how anyone can be proud of working for a firm like that. >:(

I agree with LR that finance companies need to be much more tightly controlled. There are reswponsible ones, but it's too easy to be irresponsible. However, they are more tightly controlled than they used to be.
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.
