Favourite (daft) Christmas song....
« on: December 10, 2019, 10:53:13 AM »
"for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

You can't have too many versions of "Last Christmas".

Nice to see the backing dancers getting away with it on what looks like all of 5 minutes rehearsal.
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. - God is Love.

........
Not surprising,they don't have Johannes.

I like hearing this but wonder how many people have actually listened to the lyrics:-

Oh bug..a.

What's wrong with 'Last Christmas'? I take it you're not a Wham fan then.

I am definitely not a Wham fan, but 'Last Christmas' I can take or leave. There are better Christmas songs, and there are worse.
