I'm back!
« on: June 20, 2020, 04:18:15 PM »
I'm sure you've all missed me terribly. My old laptop conked out a few weeks ago, and with libraries and non-essential shops shut, I couldn't post, order a new one online, or buy or order one over the counter, but now all shops are open again, I've just bought a new second-hand (?!) one, and am back online.
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

Honestly? I thought you had been banned.

Anyway, welcome back. Nothing has changed.

I didn't think it'd've done. I've been able to do a lot of reading, anyway.

Welcome back Steve.

Good to see you back, Steve.
Does Magna Carta mean nothing to you? Did she die in vain?

I like using multiple contractions like that occasionally - it's just a sort of private joke.
Thanks - so'm I! (Mind you, I wouldn't mind getting a mildish dose, to get it over and done with.)

In some ways, this might be seen as a matter for regret!
