Do fancy having a computer chip in your brain?

Elon Musk is developing one for humans, he already has put a coin size one in a pig called Gertrude. I think that might be a technological step too far even if the intentions are good.

Is there supposed to be some benefit to the pig, if so what is it?!

The pig is being used to trial it and as such isn't meant to benefit by it. Musk is hoping that eventually it might help humans with problems such as dementia and Parkinson's disease.

Classic Dunning Kruger. He really has no understanding of what he is talking about. To correct his moon analogy, it’s more like he made a rocket before Newton figured out orbital mechanics and he is claiming to have done the hard part.

The comments from fans just read like a cult.

It pretty much is a cult. You get people insisting that he designs the cars and the rockets himself. You get people insisting that he is saving the planet with Tesla when it is really just an electric car company and it's working hard to turn as many of the Earth's resources into cars as fast as possible.
