My son hasn't paid a TV license fee for at least 5 years because he never watches BBC programmes.
I am about to pay our license fee again, but I do have certain criticisms of the BBC.
1) It is too London centric
2) Its political programmes(E.g. 'Newsnight', 'Today') have become far too aggressive and harrying towards its interviewees. The constant interruptions and accusatory questoning by some of its interviewers(E.g. Emily Maitlis, Nick Robinson) make it difficult for me to get a clear picture of the substance of the interviews, especially with politicians who seem to be hounded before they can even finish a sentence. I have nothing against pertinent and forceful questioning, but I constantly feel frustrated because I fail to get much meaningful from the exchanges.
3) It tends to use far too many reporters especially when covering news items.
