At last, a thread that is not a never-ending dissection of the ruddy Bible!

Thanks NS!

I just wish that something interesting would push itself into my life so that I could post it on here for discussion!
The Holy Bible, probably the most diabolical work of fiction ever to be visited upon mankind.

Put it this way - religion is getting flogged to death by the pure fact that the responses to the various posts on the subject of Christianity by the adherents to that particular religion have got to the stage where the responses from those not of that persuasion have become seriously repetitive, due to the continued inability of those of the Christian persuasion to understand the arguments put forward that show that there is absolutely no proof of the existence of their God or the validity of their reliance on the contents of the Bible upon which their entire religion is based on and totally boring to someone like me who has given up that religion and has come to realise that his ability as a raconteur (?) is far outweighed by that ability in others such as yourself, in fact, the vast majority of posters here.

I stay, not for the religion, but for the ethics and the company of my betters, ie those who try their damndest to convince the Biblebashers of the error of their ways.

As my maternal grandfather told me "Round and round in ever-decreasing circle at ever-increasing speeds until it disappears up its own anal orifice resulting in a large shower of orange pips!"

It is the religionethics forum. Since the majority of contributors are atheist agnostic that is the demographic that is very interested in Christianity. If Pagan issues are less visited that is because it is perhaps of lesser interest or concern.

I agree that you are in the company of betters. Not sure about the errors or the ethics or how convincing they are.

At least I do not dismiss information provided in answer to my erroneous dismissal of explanations of my errors and make myself look a little ignorant by doing so.

I hope you are not classing yourself as one of them!

How can you not be sure, when others, the betters of my post, have been trying to explain it to you for at six years at least!

I dont think there is any method to verify or falsify their assumption of how the universe is.

Frankly I dont think you should abase yourself for the sake of the crew of strange and wonderful denizens  of ReligionEthics.

I have watched you for years trying to deny the work of educated men and women who have studied the world and the space around it and have found not one iota of proof of the existence of your God, nor have I seen one iota of evidence from you and your religious cronies to prove the existence of either your god or his son!

I cannot see in what way I am behaving in a way that belittles or degrades myself - but this may be just another demonstration of your continual abuse of the English language!
