Been rewatching this recently, or in the case of some episodes, watching for the first time. The first two series are better than I remember.

Interesting. I might give it another go. I remember thinking it was very uneven at the time.

Perhaps it just suffered because it so clearly was not Dr Who, and from memory Captain Jack's personality was very different from the one on display in Who.

There are a few obviously duff episodes but it just seems better this time part binge watching. I think this time the influence of Sapphire and Steel is much more obvious. Season 3 was always the best of it, and I may skip Season 4 because that's a different series in effect
