Bits of the centre of Killie are no-go areas, as is the 'five mile cut' where the head on collision took place.
"for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

It's still very difficult to get much of an idea of what happened. Must be very hard for the staff in hospitals today - not as if they were having an easy time without this.

I'm trying hard to ignore the romours which are flying like confetti, but the only certain thing is that at least two were stabbed, one critically - mortally - injured, and two died in the collision.
Who they were, I don't know, and there haven't been any reports on reliable media yet.

It's obviously a very complex situation and the authorities will be being very careful about getting clear what happened. It's not surprising though in the understandable delay in information being released that people are trying to find out what happened. While Kilmarnock is not a 'sleepy little village', this is a huge incident for it.

And it was a mother and daughter that were killed. Tragic.
