New Hospitals
« on: August 29, 2021, 09:21:15 AM »
This article outlines the governments approach to creating, and more importantly defining, new hospitals:

It is positively Orwellian.

By my reckoning the Hospital Trust that I used to work for, which I thought consisted of two hospitals actually consists of at least seven when you take into account new Oncology, Maternity etc. depts that were built in the years that I worked there.

If only they could find a way of retrospectively applying these definitions then they wouldn't need to spend any money at all, they would have reached and exceeded their total of forty "new" hospitals across the country.

Thanks for flagging this up, Trent
