Does sound worth reading, though not much of track record of getting to the end of Rushdie's  recent novels.

A couple of decades ago I spent a few days exploring the Hampi area, which was the site of the Vijaynagar capital. This was during a brilliant festival there: music and open air plays covering the empire and its downfall.   
Ah, but I was so much older then ... I'm younger than that now
