Wilko shops closing

Surprised that my local one in Hemel Hempstead isn't on the list - I went in yesterday, and the shelves were three-quarters empty, and what little stock was left was being flogged off dirt-cheap.
I came to realise that every time we recognise something human in creatures, we are also recognising something creaturely in ourselves. That is central to the rejection of human supremacism as the pernicious doctrine it is.

There are five Wilkos in Bristol. That list only has one of them on it.

My nearest, in St Albans, also not on the list.

But it is just like the shop in Hemel with 'everything' must go - not that there was much of anything left.

Sad news. They were a bluddy gud chain.
